ROBERT BABCOCK
Mr. Babcock has 30 years of infrastructure and energy project development success with $4 billion of projects built and almost 1,000 MW of power plants including dozens of renewable energy projects in wind, solar, geothermal, hydro and combined heat and power plants. For Verdant, Mr. Babcock is a co-founder and a member of the managing board, is the primary developer of projects, business development, general management, financial analysis and strategic oversight.
DAVID HUGHES
Mr. Hughes has over 30 years’ experience as a registered professional engineer. He has designed, procured, constructed, operated and maintained electrical systems in hundreds of locations across the country. He held positions of Chief Engineer for Amtrak and served as the acting CEO and President of Amtrak for 2 years. For Verdant, Mr. Hughes is a leading business developer and provides strategic guidance on management, growth, industry targets, project realization and engineering.
